Short version: SportDelay collects nothing. Your video is held only in your device's memory, is never uploaded, and is never seen by us or anyone else. The app makes no network requests of its own, has no accounts, and contains no analytics or advertising.
This policy applies to the SportDelay app for iPhone and iPad. It explains what the app does with information on your device, and what it does not do.
Nothing. We operate no servers and receive no data from the app. There is no account to create, nothing to sign in to, and no identifier assigned to you.
SportDelay shows a delayed view of your camera. To do that, recent video is held in your device's memory for as long as your chosen delay requires — up to about a minute.
The optional skeleton overlay uses Apple's Vision framework, which runs entirely on your device. No image, video frame or body-position data is sent off the device, to us or to Apple. The detected positions exist only in memory and are discarded along with the video.
When you tap Save, and only then, SportDelay writes a video file to your device's Photos library. To do this it briefly creates a temporary file in the app's private storage area, which is deleted as soon as the clip has been saved.
We have no access to your Photos library. Saved clips belong entirely to you, and the app does not read, index or upload them.
The Pro unlock is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your payment details, billing address or Apple Account.
The app asks Apple whether this Apple Account owns the Pro unlock, and stores the answer on your device so features stay unlocked. That check goes to Apple, not to us.
| What | Why | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Recent video | Produces the delayed playback | Memory only, cleared on exit |
| Pose positions | Draws the optional skeleton | Memory only, cleared on exit |
| Purchase status | Keeps Pro features unlocked | Device settings |
| Saved clips | Only clips you explicitly export | Your Photos library |
None of this is transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app removes everything except clips you saved to Photos, which remain yours.
SportDelay is safe for use by people of any age. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13, because it collects no personal information at all.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct or delete personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase. Video on your device is under your control and is removed when you close the app or delete it.
If the app ever begins handling data differently, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Material changes will also be described in the App Store release notes.
